Losee Canyon digs a trench several hundred feet deep in the red rock country north of Red Canyon. It is more than 3 miles long and runs east-west parallel to Red Canyon. A trail starts at the mouth of the canyonand follows a usually dry steam bed uphill to end 2.9 miles east at the junction with Cassidy Trail in the upper parts of Losee Canyon. At the junction, you can either return to the Losee Canyon Trailhead or follow Cassidy Trail for a longer hike.
Losee Canyon Trail is for hiking and horse back riding. Be prepared to deal with horse droppings over the trail.
